We are excited about the celebration of ‘Christmas Under The Stars’ again this year. We are a little more “bomb proof” weather wise now, since we have our lovely new annexe.
With the enormity of all the violence, corruption, murder and strife right around the world today, we at the Warwick Wesleyan Methodist Church, purpose to preach the good news of Christmas with its Peace, Hope, Love, and “Joy to the world, the Saviour is come.” This gospel is still very relevant today for all who will receive it. If ever there is a need for such a gospel, it is right now for the rescue of souls from heartache, confusion, hardship, threats to life by or upon individuals and the unborn.
Hear the gospel of hope at the Wesleyan Methodist Church this Christmas. Our Carols Under The Stars will be on Saturday the 7th December beginning with a free sausage sizzle at 5:30pm followed by carols at approximately 6:30pm until about 8:00pm.
The Carols Under The Stars is a public function to which all are welcome. We aim at keeping it traditional with Carol singing and relevant Bible stories read to link the thread of the Christmas story line. The Christmas message is historically true and has the potential to solve the worlds problems; should the world begin to listen. It is supremely tragic that the commandments of Jesus, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart mind and strength; and to love your neighbour as yourself”, are not sincerely pursued today. Rather it seems, “It’s all about me”.
Without life’s real foundations., violence, disillusionment, and all kinds of strife continue to escalate while family values rapidly disintegrate. While people and governments continue to mock God with utter disdain with their manmade regulations rejecting the Message of God; we are fast approaching the End Times when Christ returns. Just as the waters rose up in Noah’s day and the recalcitrant mocking people began to cry out to let them into the Ark, it was too late! The door was already shut. The people of that day suffered great loss. Their rejection and mocking of God cost them the destruction of their world society. Will this also cost you when Jesus comes again? Rev. John Wesley said, “What one generation tolerates, the next generation will embrace”.
The Bible says, “As it was in the days of Noah: so, it will be in the last day when Jesus comes to judge the world for its sin”. Come and hear the message of hope, peace, joy, and way of salvation while there is still today, and the door be not yet closed upon your life and enjoy a good old-fashioned Christmas sing-along. There will be a Donation Box present for any who are so inclined to help with our expenses for which we would say, “Thank you very much”.
