Who is the Pastor?2018-11-27T15:40:24+10:00

Rev. Doug Baigrie with his wife of nearly 49 years, Noela, nee Thornton from Woodford..

Doug was an Electrician by trade for fifty five years and he, together with Noela, ran their own Electrical Business in Kilcoy for forty years. Doug and Noela lived in Kilcoy, and also planted the Bible Methodist Church in 1975 which has now become the Kilcoy Wesleyan Methodist Church in recent years.

Prior to marriage in January 1970, Doug went to Melbourne Bible Institute, (now known as Melbourne School of Theology), for two years while Noela patiently waited back home clinging to her engagement ring for the whole two years. It was a long wait back then, given the cost of limited communication, and transport.

Our Pastor and his wife are family people having two sons and one daughter. All of whom are happily married. Their eldest son has two daughters; while the younger has two sons. Their daughter doesn’t have children.

In 2014, they accepted an appointment to Warwick for a six month Interim appointment only to find themselves loved and accepted ever since then.

Pastor Doug and Noela are unashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation for all who will believe in His Name.
